The Calligaris Furniture Quick Ship Guide

A broad collection of the Calligaris catalog including: seating, tables, mirrors, sofas, rugs, sideboards, beds and more, is stocked in the US for Quick Ship delivery, instead of the 12-week lead time a fully made-to-order piece requires. This guide covers what is in that program, family by family, along with the finish, fabric and warranty details worth knowing before you order.

What Quick Ship Means

Once inventory is confirmed, Calligaris Quick Ship orders ship in 3-5 days, with 10-20 days of transit depending on where you live. Plan on about 2-4 weeks from order to delivery. Everything outside the stocked program is made to order in Italy, generally on a longer lead time. See our Connubia reviews and FAQs for more on how lead times and customization work across both Calligaris brands.

Dining and Counter Stools

Calligaris covers nearly every stool height and material. Skin is the entry point: a stacking polypropylene stool, suitable indoors or out, available in eight colors and stackable up to seven high. Basil takes its name and its silhouette from a basil leaf, with a central rib running down the shell for structure as much as looks, offered on wood or metal legs, fixed or on a hydraulic gas lift, and with an optional counter-height version. Fifties recalls mid-century diner seating on a slim metal frame in matte black, walnut-look or sand, with separate back and seat cushions that make mixed upholstery easy.

For something softer, Holly wraps a generously padded, enveloping backrest around you, part Igloo, part Fifties, with room for arms. Inès is the understated one, a softly rounded back on a clean metal frame that scales from dining chair to counter stool without losing its proportions. Oleandro sits in similar territory, on wood or metal legs with an expanded set of upholstery and leg finishes through the Made to Order program. Sweel and Aida, both stocked in leather or fabric on wood or metal bases, round out the range for anyone who wants a stool that reads more like a dining chair.

Dining and Occasional Chairs

The Fay CS2249-S is one of the most practical Quick Ship chairs Calligaris makes, with a flexible backrest for genuine give and a fully removable, washable cover, a real advantage for a household with kids or pets. Aida is available in full leather upholstery for a more formal dining chair, while Foyer brings an upholstered armchair with wood legs into the mix for a head-of-table seat that still matches the set.

St Tropez keeps things simple on slim metal legs, an easy, affordable way to round out a table. Beyond the stocked range, the broader Calligaris chair library includes Anime, Annie, Carmen, Glen, Holly Fab, Parisienne and Skin in chair form, most available through the Made to Order program in an extended set of fabrics and leathers on a roughly 6-week lead time.

Lounge Chairs and Sofas

For a piece with real presence, the Lazy CS3373 takes its curved, egg-inspired silhouette and adds tilting and swiveling mechanisms, with an optional matching footrest, turning it into the reading chair a living room actually gets used for. It is offered on a swivel base or on wood legs. The Mara CS3456 takes a different approach, padded and fully upholstered in fabric or leather with two exposed wood inserts on the back in walnut, smoke or black finishes, a chair that looks as good from behind as it does from the front.

On the sofa side, the Le Marais CS3413 is stocked as an 89.5-inch sofa or a 111.5-inch sofa with chaise, in Kalix grey or Paris cream fabric, with soft, elegant proportions that work equally well in a traditional or contemporary room. The Pandora CS3459 is the wellness piece of the collection, stocked at 114 inches in Aspen sand fabric, with a seven-position adjustable headrest and a pull-out seat that extends the cushion depth for genuine stretched-out lounging.

Dining and Extending Tables

This is where the Calligaris engineering shows most clearly. The Icaro CS4114-R is a rectangular extension table built to grow cleanly for a dinner party without needing a separate leaf stored elsewhere. The Omnia CS4058-R extends from 71 to 94.5 inches, and Delta CS4097 does the same over a similar range on its own distinct base.

For a sculptural centerpiece, the Cameo CS4124-FE is a fixed oval table on a single pedestal base, and the Abrey CS4127-FB pairs an elliptical top with wood legs for a warmer, more traditional read. The Yoroi collection, inspired by the layered plates of samurai armor, is the most dramatic table in the range, offered as an oval, round, elliptical extending or rectangular extending top with a strongly grooved wood-inset base; several finishes reach into ceramic and glass stone territory at the top of the price range. Beyond the stocked program, Calla, Cartesio, Cyclone, Dogma, Duca, Kent, Levante, Orbital, Sandy, Twins and Vortex round out the broader Calligaris table library, available through Made to Order in the full range of tops and finishes.

Coffee Tables and Consoles

The Mushroom CS5140 takes its name from its shape: a generous base under a top with irregular, organic lines, offered in a smaller side-table size and a larger coffee-table size, in travertine, bronze glass or smoke grey glass tops with walnut or smoke wood bases. Abrey also comes as a coordinating occasional table for the dining version above. Sandy and Twins appear across the coffee table and non-extending console assortments as well, for anyone building out a full room in one finish family.

Mirrors, Rugs and Case Goods

The Sipario CS5146 mirror combines curved and flat glass into one poetic shape, available in three sizes and two finishes. The Bevel CS5139 mirror takes a more architectural approach with a beveled edge in two sizes and two finishes, and the Vanity CS5111 mirror rounds out the range in three sizes at a lower price point, a good match for a bedroom or entry. The Connect and Curved rugs are designed to sit underneath the dining and coffee table collections above, tying a room's palette together underfoot.

For storage, the Lake CS6076-6 high sideboard pairs a glossy lacquered case with a marble top and slim black metal legs, a striking piece for a dining room or entry that needs real storage without reading as bulky. Alterego and Crystal extend the sideboard and cabinet range further for anyone furnishing a full dining or living space in one finish story.

Beds, Nightstands and Dressers

The Fluff CS6087 bed is stocked in king and queen fixed frames in Hemp boucle, a lightweight upholstered frame built as one piece with the headboard, so the mattress appears to float on a slender, sturdy structure. The Softly CS6054 bed is stocked in king and queen in Paris beige or Malmo sand, with a large, deeply padded headboard and a fully removable fabric cover for easy cleaning or refreshing down the line.

The Boston CS6046 collection completes the room: a 1-drawer or 2-drawer nightstand and a matching dresser, each with handle-free push-pull drawers and a quarter-inch ceramic top that resists scratches, stains and heat without ever needing to be sealed. Feet come in a wood finish to match the case or in aluminum for a cooler, more industrial look.

Calligaris Finish Options

Calligaris and Connubia are made by the same company, Calligaris S.p.A., and many finishes carry across both brands. For the full explanation of how these tabletops are constructed and cared for, see our Calligaris Tabletop Finishes Guide.

Ceramic Tabletops

Porcelain stoneware fired at 1200°C and bonded to glass, non-porous and resistant to scratches, stains, heat and chemicals, never needing to be sealed.

The glossy marbles, P2C White Marble and P31C Calacatta Paonazzo, are polished to bring out the veining, while their matte counterpart P35C Calacatta Paonazzo Matte shares the same veining in a softer, honed surface. P18C Calacatta Black is the most dramatic option, with gold and white veins running through near-black stone, and P41C Touchstone goes a step further, texturing the surface itself so you feel the stone, not just see it. P5C Salt White, P321 Lead Grey and P6C Oxide Black are the quiet, cement-like solids for minimal interiors.

Glass

Clear and tinted tempered glass comes in GTR Transparent, GTG Smoke Grey and GTB Bronze, the last of which warms up a room while still keeping the base visible underneath. For something more sculptural, textured glass like GM9 Nilo Bronze has a rippled, molten surface that catches light and turns the top into the focal point.

Solid Wood and Veneer

P2GW Wild Natural solid oak keeps every board's natural knots and grain on display, part of a three-tone Wild collection used on tabletops. P1GW Canaletto Walnut and P67W Termocotto Herringbone are veneer finishes, thin sheets of select wood over a stable core, the latter laid in a classic herringbone pattern. P12 Smoke and P15L Matt Black appear most often on wood chair and table legs, making it easy to coordinate a base with your top.

Metal frame colors, fabrics and leathers vary by piece and rotate with the stocked Quick Ship program, so ask us for current swatches on the specific model you're considering.

Caring for Calligaris Pieces

Ceramic, glass stone and glass: clean with mild soap and water. These surfaces are non-porous and never need sealing.

Fabrics and faux leathers: address spills promptly with a soft soapy solution and a damp white cloth. As with any light-colored upholstery, dyes from denim or other saturated fabrics can transfer and become permanent, so keep that in mind with lighter finishes.

Wood and metal frames: dust regularly and avoid harsh solvents, acetone or abrasive cleaners, which can dull or damage the finish over time.

Ordering, Lead Times and Customization

Quick Ship: ships in 3-5 days once confirmed, arriving in about 2-3 weeks.

Made to Order: an extended library of fabrics and leathers on most models, produced in Italy on a longer lead time, generally in the range of 12 weeks or more.
