Eilersen's Debuts New Sofas at 3 Days of Design 2026

Designed by Nils Juul Eilersen, its curved silhouette and fluid transitions give the sofa a warm, almost playful presence, while removable down top backrests let it shape-shift depending on how it's used: casual and loose as a standalone piece, calmer and more classic when paired with a chaise longue or additional modules. Hippy Sofa

Hippy is Eilersen's most overtly sculptural release yet, and its most nostalgic. Designed by Nils Juul Eilersen, each module is crafted as a single continuous shape, with a sharp front curve that rises and wraps around the seat in one fluid gesture, a nod, quite intentionally, to the cocooning aesthetic of the 1970s. A high back and reclining seat deliver serious lounge comfort, while a distinctive slit down the backrest gives the design a signature detail unlike anything else in the Eilersen catalogue. Configured with 90 or 45 degree center pieces, Hippy modules link into sweeping curved arrangements, or stand entirely on their own as sculptural lounge chairs.

Cone Sofa

Cone has history behind it: originally a lounge chair by Jens Juul Eilersen, it has now evolved into a compact sofa that carries the same soft, rounded silhouette into a larger form. The result is sculptural from every angle, with balanced proportions that make it just as suited to a dressing room or hallway as a hotel foyer or hospitality lounge.
